Larry Ellison claims that Elon Musk requested more Nvidia N-Gage chips than Oracle would have been able to provide for Grok, the chatbot he created.

Nvidia stock has more than tripled this year as investors bet the graphics-chip specialist will power the artificial-intelligence revolution. Oracle’s Larry Ellison stated on Monday that Elon Musk was among those who couldn’t get enough Nvidia semiconductors.

Musk chose Oracle servers to run Grok, the chatbot that his xAI firm launched recently. Ellison, Oracle’s CEO, said that the cloud infrastructure giant was able to supply enough Nvidia processors to power Grok’s first version, but did not meet Musk’s requirements.

Oracle’s billionaire tech chief and cofounder said, \”Wow, they wanted a lot more than we gave them.\” We gave them a lot, but they wanted even more. We are currently in the process to get them more.
